Content Management Systems

Sat Nov 20, 2010 3:54 am

My publishing company also builds affiliate marketing and corporate websites often by using turnkey content management systems (CMS) such as Joomla, Drupal, and of course WordPress.

I'm just curious to learn if other affiliate marketers are finding innovative uses for CMS and if they would mind sharing some of their success stories?

Thanks,
Jason

i've found going through services such as elance and odesk and rentacoder, also getafreelancer, will supply me with content services that are so cheap it's insulting to american content writers. they can't compete with 1.00 per 500 word article and shouldn't. but it's a good way to get timely content.

Hi there,
I can't go past Wordpress. It's easy to use, great for tweaking for powerful SEO and you have heaps of free plugins to customize and optimize your website.

I reckon "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" I'll be staying with WP. Sometimes I change up a theme - that's it!

On my site, I have written a post about setting up WordPress if you want to learn more.
Regards
Catherine
