Step 1:

Find a product or CPA offer with a wide general appeal like dieting, politics etc.

Step 2:

Go to the Google Keyword research tool and look for related keywords

Step 3:

Look for high search volume terms with youtube videos on the first page of the search results and bookmark the videos

Step 4:

Make a short video using Powerpoint or its free Openoffice alternative, which is informative, but keeps the watcher curious for more (it should MAKE him curious) and suggest more information behind a link

Step 5:

Upload the video under various names and respond to the videos you have bookmarked. Have an affiliate link in the description (as the first part of the description)

Those are great tips. Normally, what I do is,
I just upload a video and add more tags to that.,

Then, I used to get more backlinks to that video & use some social networks like twitter, facebook, myspace and etc. As a result, I used to get more traffic.

To the start of your Title to attract someone to read the rest of the title. Then include a 1 or 3 word description of your video, remember not to make it to long

youtube magic is all about "special effects": I mean, if the video is very very cool, it can attract a lot of visitors.

While I prefer useful content to cool content, in this case a cool video will create more hype.

Is this about asking the owner of the video with lots of traffic to put your link in their description to get traffic.

Jeff Johnson has a good reputation for teaching how to use YouTube for those who want to take it to the next level.

Great post, thanks for sharing. Seems like a fairly easy to follow, step by step process. I do have a few questions, however, that would make things easier for all of us. How much search volume should I be looking to target and focus on? How much competition should I look at, as well? If a keyword has 1,000,000 search results and competing websites is it possible to rank a video or is there a magic number so to speak that will generate the best results and make it easier to rank on the first page of Google?
