Blogs enable companies to keep their customers informed on a regular basis. They could post news about new products, policies and opportunities available and have it in front of their customers in a matter of minutes instead of having to send newsletter weekly or monthly. That helps organizations to develop stronger relationships with their customers and build trust since they can easily interact with them and get feedbacks.

After creating a blog, I suggest that you make use of SEO strategies to increase your presence in search results. A higher ranking will surely lead to a greater exposure and a greater exposure means the bigger chance of getting more traffic and sales. Furthermore, social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook have long been known for its effectiveness in promoting a web page. So why not make use of this to do so. I believe that with the right execution of marketing associated with SEO and Social Media Marketing, being profitable isn't far behind.

There are many things you can do to promote it.First see whether there are any forums related to your niche available and accept signature link then promote it there by participation more.Target some good keywords and build backlinks behind them for better ranking in search engines.

Chris I wish you the best of luck!
:P
Social networking will be the right thing to start from. Make yourself available in any media channel you can imagine; FB, Twitter, I recommend professional groups on LinkedIn. There are hundreds of thousands of groups over there - sure you can find some that will fit your website.
Good luck!

You can start a facebook fanpage. Then spread that. You can start informing friends and ask them to help you spread your business.

You can also use twitter and other social media sites.
